A firmer brush tip than the PCF-350, for brush strokes with more control over the line.
The PC-5BR has a 1 to 4mm semi-flexible brush tip. Press lightly for a fine line and harder for a broader stroke. The tip is washable and reversible. The 16 colours are bold, deep shades chosen for layering. The paint is the standard water-based POSCA formula: matte, opaque, quick drying and permanent on porous surfaces such as wood, fabric, stone and canvas. Colourists and illustrators get a brush feel from a firmer tip. It suits lettering at card and journal scale and shading on rocks and wood, and layers cleanly over dry POSCA fills.

A brush-tipped POSCA for expressive, painterly marks — the springier of the two POSCA brush pens, so it snaps back and puts more bite into the stroke.
The PCF-350 is the softer 3–10mm brush for flowing thick-to-thin strokes and lettering. The PC-5BR has a springier tip for looser, more painterly marks. Compare the tips.
Flat, cap on firmly, away from heat and direct sun, so the paint stays evenly through the fibres. Bullet and chisel pens are happy standing up; brushes are not.
Yes, while the paint is wet. Work two colours into each other on the surface, or soften an edge with a damp brush — water reactivates POSCA right up until it dries.
