An 8mm chisel tip that draws thick and thin from the same edge, made for curves and coverage.
The PC-8K has an 8mm chisel tip that suits curves and covering large areas. Turn the edge for a thin line or lay it flat for a wide stroke, so it letters as well as it fills. The tip is washable and swaps for a PCXR8 nib. It uses the same water-based POSCA paint as the rest of the range: quick to dry, permanent on porous surfaces, erasable on glass until varnished. The colour choice includes metallics and fluoros. This listing is one marker; choose from 35 colours in the drop-down.
Sign writers and window artists use it for headline lettering and block colour. Street artists use it for fills and outlines with weight. On fabric and wood the colour stays put; on glass it wipes off until varnished.

It is an 8mm chisel, so it lays down wide flat strokes and crisp edges — the pen for window art, signage and murals. Turned on its edge it still gives you a much finer line.
Wipe the glass with methylated spirits first so there is no grease. POSCA sits on top of glass and comes off with a damp cloth until you fix it, which is exactly what you want for window art you change each season.
Be careful — on a porous chalkboard POSCA can be permanent. If you rewrite the board every week, use uni Chalk markers instead, which are made to wipe off.
Yes. Broad tips hold more paint and take longer to charge than fine ones. Shake with the cap on until the ball rattles, then press the tip straight down on scrap paper until colour appears.
Let it dry fully, then either spray a clear acrylic varnish in several light passes from about 30cm, or — on glass and ceramic — bake the piece: into a cold oven, up to around 160°C, hold about 45 minutes, then cool it in the oven so it does not crack.
