POSCA PC-17K extra broad paint marker, 15mm rectangular tip
The widest of the pen-style POSCA tips, for blocks of solid colour and backgrounds.
The PC-17K has a 15mm rectangular tip with bevelled edges. One pass lays down a broad band, and the edge still gives a straight line for borders. The tip is removable and washable, and swaps for a PCR17 nib. The water-based paint dries matte and opaque in a few minutes and is permanent on porous surfaces. This listing is one marker; choose from 10 colours in the drop-down.
Muralists and event sign writers use it to cover large boards quickly. Schools use it for backdrop colour on display boards. Because it is still a POSCA, the paint wipes off glass and glazed surfaces until varnished, so window backgrounds are easy to change.

It is the biggest POSCA — a 15mm chisel tip built for street art, large surfaces and big backgrounds. On its edge it still gives you a clean straight line.
That depends on how hard you press and how much you fill, but broad tips empty fastest — a 17K covering a wall will not last like a fine pen doing outlines. Buy spares of the colours you use for backgrounds.
There is a lot more tip to fill. Shake with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball, then press the tip straight down on scrap and keep going until colour comes through. Resist over-pumping, or it floods and drips.
Not bare — POSCA outdoors fades and weathers. Let the work dry, then protect it with a water-based clear spray varnish in several light passes. Test the varnish on a scrap done in the same colours first.
