POSCA PC-1MR ultra fine paint marker, 0.7mm calibrated tip
The thinnest line in the POSCA range, for outlines, lettering and fine detail on almost any surface.
The PC-1MR has a 0.7mm calibrated tip ringed in metal, which keeps the line steady on paper, wood, glass, fabric and stone. It carries the same water-based POSCA paint as the larger tips, so it dries matte and opaque in a few minutes and does not bleed through paper. The tip is washable. This listing is one marker; choose from 22 colours in the drop-down.
Illustrators use it for hatching and outlines over broader POSCA fills. Journallers and card makers get clean lettering without a brush. Because the paint is opaque, a white or metallic PC-1MR reads clearly over dark paper and painted wood.

Yes, for the finest and most controlled line. The PC-1M gives a fraction more flow, and the PC-3M is worth a look when the outline needs to hold its own against filled colour.
Almost never. New pens leave the factory with the valve closed. Shake with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball rattle, about 20 shakes, then press the tip straight down on scrap paper until colour appears. Full steps are in the how to use POSCA guide.
On porous surfaces — paper, card, wood, stone, unglazed ceramic, fabric — yes, the paint soaks in and stays once dry. On glass, glazed ceramic, smooth metal and PVC-type plastic it sits on top and wipes off with a damp cloth until you seal or bake it.
