POSCA PC-3M Creativity on Canvas bundle, bag and four markers

A black zip canvas bag to decorate, with four PC-3M markers to do it: Coral Pink, Apricot, Sunshine Yellow and Aqua Green.

The Creativity on Canvas bundle pairs a black canvas zip bag, usable as a pencil case, with four POSCA PC-3M markers in Coral Pink, Apricot, Sunshine Yellow and Aqua Green. The bag measures 205 x 125mm. POSCA paint is permanent on fabric, and the 0.9 to 1.3mm bullet tip draws names, patterns and small pictures on the canvas with control. Fix the design by ironing the bag inside out without steam before it goes into use. This bundle will not be restocked once it sells out.

It suits a first POSCA project for a child or a beginner, a small gift that includes something to make, and a school holiday activity with a finished object at the end. The four bright colours all show on black canvas.

For more colours on the same bag, the standard PC-3M wallet uses the same tip, and the gift sets collection has other ready-made presents. See the standard PC-3M wallet, POSCA gift sets, the PC-3M range and surfaces and craft.

It draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and is the everyday fine POSCA — enough control for illustration and small lettering, enough coverage to colour in. It is the favourite for journalling and rock painting.

The 3M draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and the 5M a 1.8–2.5mm line. The 3M is better for detail and small work; the 5M covers ground faster and comes in the most colours. Most people end up owning both.

Yes. The PC-3M nib is reversible — a bullet at one end and a chisel edge at the other — and it pulls out with tweezers when it wears. Replacement nibs cost a fraction of a new pen.

Wash and dry the rock first, because dust stops paint sticking. The 3M handles most rock painting, with a PC-1MR for faces and fine detail. Seal anything that will live outside in the garden.

Let it dry fully — 24 hours is safest — then spray a clear acrylic varnish in several light passes from about 30cm rather than one heavy coat, which can reactivate water-based paint and smear it. Always test on a scrap done in the same colours first.
