A school of blank wooden fish and an assorted PC-3M wallet to give each one its own scales.
This bundle combines assorted wooden fish decorations with the POSCA PC-3M assorted wallet. The fish come in mixed designs on smooth wood, ready for paint. The PC-3M has a 0.9 to 1.3mm fine bullet tip, which is the size for scales, stripes and eyes, and the paint dries matte and opaque so light colours sit over dark ones once dry. It is permanent on wood, and the tips wash, reverse and take a PCR3 nib.
It suits under-the-sea classroom themes, a beach holiday activity, a birthday craft table or a mobile for a child's room. Every fish comes out different, which is the point.

It draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and is the everyday fine POSCA — enough control for illustration and small lettering, enough coverage to colour in. It is the favourite for journalling and rock painting.
The 3M draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and the 5M a 1.8–2.5mm line. The 3M is better for detail and small work; the 5M covers ground faster and comes in the most colours. Most people end up owning both.
Yes. The PC-3M nib is reversible — a bullet at one end and a chisel edge at the other — and it pulls out with tweezers when it wears. Replacement nibs cost a fraction of a new pen.
Wash and dry the rock first, because dust stops paint sticking. The 3M handles most rock painting, with a PC-1MR for faces and fine detail. Seal anything that will live outside in the garden.
Let it dry fully — 24 hours is safest — then spray a clear acrylic varnish in several light passes from about 30cm rather than one heavy coat, which can reactivate water-based paint and smear it. Always test on a scrap done in the same colours first.
