Eight PC-3M markers in the standard colours, packed in a wallet. The 0.9 to 1.3mm bullet tip draws a neat outline and colours in small areas without changing markers, which is why this is a good first PC-3M set. The tip washes clean, turns around when one end wears and takes a PCR3 replacement nib. The paint is water-based, dries matte and opaque, and does not bleed through paper. On glass and glazed ceramic it wipes off until it is varnished.
It suits art students, crafters and anyone customising a small object for the first time. The wallet keeps the set in one place between sessions, and single PC-3M markers are also stocked.

It draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and is the everyday fine POSCA — enough control for illustration and small lettering, enough coverage to colour in. It is the favourite for journalling and rock painting.
The 3M draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and the 5M a 1.8–2.5mm line. The 3M is better for detail and small work; the 5M covers ground faster and comes in the most colours. Most people end up owning both.
Yes. The PC-3M nib is reversible — a bullet at one end and a chisel edge at the other — and it pulls out with tweezers when it wears. Replacement nibs cost a fraction of a new pen.
Wash and dry the rock first, because dust stops paint sticking. The 3M handles most rock painting, with a PC-1MR for faces and fine detail. Seal anything that will live outside in the garden.
Let it dry fully — 24 hours is safest — then spray a clear acrylic varnish in several light passes from about 30cm rather than one heavy coat, which can reactivate water-based paint and smear it. Always test on a scrap done in the same colours first.
