Sixteen PC-1MR markers in assorted classic colours, in a wallet. The 0.7mm tip is calibrated and ringed in metal, which is what makes the line even from edge to edge. It washes clean. The paint is water-based and opaque, dries matte in a few minutes and does not bleed through paper.
With sixteen colours the greens, blues and browns come in more than one shade, which matters for botanical drawing, maps and character work. It suits illustrators, designers and anyone doing detail over a PC-5M fill.

Almost never. New pens leave the factory with the valve closed. Shake with the cap on until you hear the mixing ball rattle, about 20 shakes, then press the tip straight down on scrap paper until colour appears. Full steps are in the how to use POSCA guide.
On porous surfaces — paper, card, wood, stone, unglazed ceramic, fabric — yes, the paint soaks in and stays once dry. On glass, glazed ceramic, smooth metal and PVC-type plastic it sits on top and wipes off with a damp cloth until you seal or bake it.
