Eight deep POSCA colours in the fine tip, for shadows, outlines and richer layering.
The dark colours wallet holds eight deep-toned PC-3M markers. Where the standard wallet is the bright core of the range, this one is its shadows: the colours that add depth under a fill and weight to an outline. The 0.9 to 1.3mm bullet tip suits shading and careful layering as well as line work. Tips wash under the tap, turn around when one end wears and take a PCR3 nib. The paint is water-based, matte and opaque, permanent on paper, wood, stone and fabric and erasable from glass until varnished.
Illustrators who shade with colour rather than black, colouring book fans who want depth on the page, and anyone drawing cats, feathers and foliage in their darker tones. It pairs with a standard wallet as the second half of a working palette.

It draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and is the everyday fine POSCA — enough control for illustration and small lettering, enough coverage to colour in. It is the favourite for journalling and rock painting.
The 3M draws a 0.9–1.3mm line and the 5M a 1.8–2.5mm line. The 3M is better for detail and small work; the 5M covers ground faster and comes in the most colours. Most people end up owning both.
Yes. The PC-3M nib is reversible — a bullet at one end and a chisel edge at the other — and it pulls out with tweezers when it wears. Replacement nibs cost a fraction of a new pen.
Wash and dry the rock first, because dust stops paint sticking. The 3M handles most rock painting, with a PC-1MR for faces and fine detail. Seal anything that will live outside in the garden.
Let it dry fully — 24 hours is safest — then spray a clear acrylic varnish in several light passes from about 30cm rather than one heavy coat, which can reactivate water-based paint and smear it. Always test on a scrap done in the same colours first.
