One black across eight POSCA tip sizes, from a 0.7mm outline to a 15mm fill.
This set has eight POSCA markers in black, one of each tip the range makes: the PC-1MR ultra fine, PC-1M extra fine, PC-3M fine, PC-5M medium, the PCF-350 brush, PC-7M broad bullet, PC-8K chisel and PC-17K extra broad. Same water-based paint in all of them, so the black matches from the finest line to the widest band.
Outlines, fills and brush strokes in one consistent black, for illustration and lettering where the colour comes from somewhere else. It is also a useful way to find out which tip size you actually like before buying colours.

Yes. Each pen leaves the factory with its valve closed. Shake with the cap on until the mixing ball rattles, then press the tip straight down on scrap paper until colour appears — white, the metallics and the broad tips take the longest.
