A bag-sized sketchbook with 120 pages of 110gsm cartridge paper and a double wire spine that folds right back.
This is the small one in the Derwent Academy range. The A5 portrait page suits quick studies, colour tests and the kind of drawing that happens on a bus or at a kitchen table. Inside are 120 pages of 110gsm acid-free cartridge paper. The front cover is polypropylene and the back is board, which protects the pages between uses. Double wire binding lets it open flat or fold fully back on itself, and the A5 size keeps it portable.

Yes to both. POSCA is opaque, so light goes over dark — just let each layer dry completely or the tip lifts the colour underneath. To blend, work two colours together while wet or soften an edge with a damp brush.
POSCA paint is water-based, non-toxic and odourless with no solvent fumes, which is why it is a classroom staple. Supervise as normal, keep the small caps away from toddlers and cover the table.
