Thirty-six oil-based POSCA pencils in a plastic carry case, made for blending, layering and detailed illustration.
This set holds 36 POSCA pencils in assorted colours. The core is oil-based, with more oil than wax in a blend of wax, talc, pigment and resin, which lets it lay down solid colour and still blend with neighbouring shades. The finish dries matte. The pencils work on both light and dark paper. Hatching, stippling, layering and shading all respond well, and the plastic carry case keeps the full range in order between sessions.
Suits illustrators, designers and students who want a wide palette in pencil form and a core that blends rather than sits on the surface, for drawing, illustration and mixed media style work.
