The fine chalk marker for small menu boards, price tags and mirror messages.
The PWE-3MS has a 0.9 to 1.3mm polyester bullet tip, the finest uni Chalk tip we stock. The water-based liquid chalk writes on and wipes off non-porous surfaces such as chalkboards, glass and mirrors, and uni rates it rain-resistant for outdoor signage. It is not suitable for porous surfaces. This listing is one marker; choose from 3 colours in the drop-down.
Cafes use it for price lists and specials where the broader tips are too wide. Retailers use it on glass cabinets and jar labels that change weekly, and wipe it off when the message changes.

No. They are a different product with a different job: chalk markers are made to wipe off, while POSCA is a water-based pigment paint marker designed to stay put on porous surfaces.
Chalk markers. On a porous chalkboard POSCA can be permanent, so for menu and specials boards that change often, chalk markers are the safer choice.
When you want the artwork to stay — a permanent sign or a decorative board. POSCA also sits on top of glass and wipes off with a damp cloth, which makes it good for window art you change each season. See surface prep and fixing.
Laminate and whiteboard are non-porous, so a damp cloth usually does it. If the paint has fully dried, a little isopropyl alcohol or methylated spirits on a cloth will lift it — rinse afterwards so no residue is left on a surface people touch.
