Sixteen classic colours in the broad bullet tip, for bold work that needs a real palette.
Sixteen PC-7M markers in assorted classic colours, in a wallet. The 4.5 to 5.5mm bullet tip sits between the PC-5M and the PC-8K: wide enough to fill a poster background, round enough to draw a curve without a chisel corner. Each tip can be rinsed and replaced with a PCR7 nib. The water-based paint dries matte and opaque, and once dry it is permanent on canvas, timber, card and stone.
Murals, retail displays and big classroom posters get a full palette at a width that covers. It suits a decorator who has outgrown the wallet of 8 and wants a bigger palette than the wallet of 8.

A 4.5–5.5mm bullet tip that fills shapes fast — posters, canvas and boards — while still giving you a controllable edge. It is also a good base-coat pen on rocks, wood and ceramics before you add detail with a 3M or 5M.
Broader tips hold more paint, so they need more presses to charge. Shake with the cap on until the mixing ball rattles, then press the tip straight down on scrap paper until the colour comes through. Do not over-pump — a flooded tip drips.
Yes. POSCA is opaque, so light goes over dark just as easily as dark over light. Let each layer dry completely first or the tip will lift the colour underneath and muddy both. More in techniques.
Only if you seal it. Bare POSCA outdoors fades and weathers. Once the piece has dried for 24 hours, a water-based clear spray varnish in several light passes makes a real difference to how long it lasts.
