The tea towel is cut and hemmed at 52.5 x 72cm, so the edges are finished and the whole face is yours to decorate. It is plain calico fabric and takes fabric markers, paint, stencils and embroidery. Wash it before decorating for the best result. The size suits a big single design, a class set of handprints, or a grid of small drawings from a whole group on one towel.

Yes — heat-fix with an iron (no steam) and the colour survives gentle washing. For sneakers, seal with an acrylic finisher for durability.
POSCA ink is water-based, non-toxic and odourless — suitable for classrooms and kids' craft with normal supervision.
Use a clear acrylic spray such as Micador Crystal Clear. Apply light coats once the ink is fully dry.
